We are located in the heart of the Florence/Shoals business district.  The Shoals has a rich history in the music industry. We're known far and wide for the "Muscle Shoals Sound."  Our community hosts numerous festivals and events throughout the year including the NCAA Division II Championship Football Game and professional fishing tournaments.

City Lodge is located within 2 miles of Wilson Dam on the shores of Pickwick Lake and only two blocks from City Hall, three blocks from the Florence Harbor, and five blocks from UNA.   There are several good golf courses nearby, including two Robert Trent Jones courses opening in 2004.  There also many fine restaurants within walking distance, and all area businesses are within minutes to the Lodge.  In June, 2005 we added a new swimming pool to make your stay even more enjoyable.
